Lain Hai was high-spirited and full of ambition. He packed his bags overnight and left home the next day.

He even asked Lian Fang Zhou to send him out in a horse-drawn carriage with a servant to follow him! This way he could use the carriage and servant while in the province capital!

Hearing him be so rude, Lian Fang Zhou really wanted to throw him out but instead she just refused and had someone take him to the county capital.

For this reason, Lian Hai was full of complaints.

As soon as Lian Hai left, Lian Fang Zhou sent Madam Li to visit Madam Qiao at her home. The intention was to force Madam Qiao to fulfill her problem.

How could Madam Qiao be willing to abandon her home, especially when her son was about to become an official? But Lian Fang Zhou was stalking and pressing her at every step! As a result, she never went outside.

Everyone in Dafang village was very surprised, they couldn’t figure out why she would do this.

But soon, they all understood.

Out of nowhere, a rumor sprung up that after experiencing so many blows and doing so many evil things, Madam Qiao had finally come to her senses and decided to go to the nunnery to cleanse herself. She would atone for her sins, accumulate blessings for her husband and son, and never go home again in this life!

Since you knew your mistakes, you could correct them. There was nothing wrong with this! Everyone sighed after they heard it.

Those old acts of hers were dug up and chewed over again and everyone agreed, she should have done this a long time ago!

Later these words spread to Madam Qiao’s ears and she was so angry she almost fainted!

After leaving Lian Fang Zhou’s house, she was suffocated and had nowhere to vent her anger. She had deliberately left without speaking as to attract everyone’s attention and get them to help her.

Who knew that even if she didn’t say anything, Lian Fang Zhou had already prepared a logical and clear story! Madam Qiao was now on the passive side and the matter was a deadlock.

In the end, she had to spend the rest of her life in the Jingshui Nunnery.

After Madam Qiao left and Lian Fang Zhou ordered people to spread the rumors, she finally set off on her honeymoon with Ah Jian.

They did not take Chun Xing or Bi Tao, only Zhang Xiao Jun to drive the carriage. After passing by Poyang lake, they went through Jingdezhen, Wuyuan, and finally to Huangshan.

Neither of them were lazy people and they could do everything themselves. Even without Chun Xing or the others, they were still at ease. The carriage had also been specially designed by Ah Jian and it was not only very comfortable but stable as well.

It was still early summer. The sun was shining, the landscape was green, and the flowers were blooming. There was nothing better than walking leisurely through this scene with the one you loved.

Thanks to Ah Jian’s strong martial ability, Lian Fang Zhou was not afraid of hidden dangers on the road. She relaxed, nestled in his arms, and let him hug her frivolously as they chatted and laughed. They were like a fairytale couple, making all who saw them envious.

When they arrived in Shuangliu county, they paid a visit to Su Manor. Fang Qing was so excited to see them that she convinced they to stay another night.

According to Madam Su, Su Xin’er was still unwell. Lian Fang Zhou felt that this matter was still awkward and was happy not to see her.

In her room, Su Xin’er only now learned that Lian Fang Zhou and Ah Jian were married. She was stunned for a long time, at a loss, before blurting out: “What about my cousin? Isn’t he very sad? This is too tragic!”

Ju Xiang looked at her in surprise but didn’t say anything.

But as soon as she said this, Su Xin’er sighed and mocked herself. “What am I saying? She is married and she did not marry my cousin! Shouldn’t I be happy? Yes, I should be happy! But when I think of how sad my cousin must be, I can’t be happy at all…”

“Miss..” Ju Xiang’s nose went sour. Suppressing her tears, she said: “Miss, if Young Master knew of your sincerity, he would definitely be moved! He would definitely—”

“Ju Xiang!” Su Xin’er shook her head, smiling lightly. “Don’t you know, in this world feelings are the most worthless. It’s true! Look how my cousin treats Lian Fang Zhou and how I treated my cousin… even if I held my heart in front of him, I’m afraid he wouldn’t take a second look. What’s more, I—”

Thinking of everything that had happened to her, Su Xin’er’s eyes were full of sadness.

“Miss…” Ju Xiang didn’t know what to say.

Su Xin’er raised her eyes and said proudly: “I like my cousin and I will wait for him, even if I have to wait forever! After ten or twenty years, if he doesn’t like me, I will still be there for him. He will feel guilty, right? As long as I can be by his side, I won’t regret it.”

Ju Xiang was so surprised, her eyes were wide and her mouth was open. “How can this be done! Miss, Master and Madam will never agree! And the cost to Miss is not fair!”

“I’m willing to do it myself, how is it not fair?” Su Xin’er snorted. “Even if my parents don’t agree, I’m afraid they don’t have a choice. My reputation is already bad, how can there be any good people willing to marry me? The bad people don’t count, my parents would never agree. I am already not young and I don’t have a suitable family. In this life, I must wait for my cousin!”

Ju Xiang moved her lips but had nothing to say. What the young lady said sounded ridiculous but it seemed to be true, which was awful.

Lian Fang Zhou and Ah Jian stayed at the Su house for one night and agreed to visit again when they were on their way back before heading out in their carriage.

They travelled slowly. Not to mention the towns and famous places of interests, it was good to stop and take a look around every time the scenery looked good. With Ah Jian at her side, climbing mountains and wading in the water, everything was fine. There was no worry they would run into bad guys.

Indulging in mountains and rivers, tenderness and sweetness, they were both very happy.

By the time they arrived in Huangshan, a month had passed.

It was mid-summer but the Huangshan mountains were cool and pleasant. Green forests and lush water was everywhere, surrounded by strange mountains and singing birds. The scenery was beautiful, second to none.

Lian Fang Zhou was overwhelmed with the view and simply rolled up the carriage curtain, ordering Zhang Xiao Jun to slow down.

This scenic area was a true gem of ecology. Wandering around, you could really appreciate the subtle beautiful without crowds of people.

“It’s so beautiful here! Ah Jian, after a couple years, let’s come back here and live for a while.” Lian Fang Zhou said happily.

Ah Jian glanced at his wife with bright eyes and smiled: “Okay, as long as you like it. We can live year for a year or two, or longer. I will go wherever you are.”

These words were very comfortable. Lian Fang Zhou smiled sweetly, shining like silk. Seeing this, Ah Jian’s heart became hot again. He narrowed his eyes: “Let’s find a place to stay first. Let’s ask the local villagers when we go out tomorrow.”

  1. SX is still a dope…what “feelings are worthless”? What about her parents’ and brother’s feelings for her, does she think she could have run so rampant otherwise? She and CSX totally deserve each other…and what feelings CSX gave LFZ? His “why she didn’t wait for me just because I wanted to have her”? I’m so over these two little tyrants…
